Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were strong buyers today, investing Rs 8,250.53 crore in Indian markets. Meanwhile, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) sold shares worth Rs 534.54 crore.

Overall, FIIs led the buying spree while DIIs and insurance firms booked profits.
