Apple’s Vision Pro, launched in the US in February, is projected by IDC to sell fewer than 100,000 units per quarter this year, totaling under 500,000 units annually.
Sales of Vision Pro are anticipated to decline sharply by 75% in the current quarter, but the upcoming international launch in late June might help offset the sluggish US performance.
IDC forecasts that a more affordable variant of Vision Pro, priced approximately half as much as the current model, could reignite consumer interest starting in 2025. However, substantial sales growth may not occur in the next year.

Meanwhile, Apple’s iPhone 16 series is expected to ship between 90 million and 100 million units, indicating robust demand compared to the more modest sales projections for the Vision Pro.
